Work within two shelters to monitor and assist residents with safety and following rules and procedures. Prepare and serve client meals. Conduct monthly fire drills and ensure building safety.
Conduct substance abuse assessments, make appropriate impressions regarding client’s needs for substance abuse treatment, make recommendations to appropriate level of care based on ASAM criteria and Level of Care Index, case management, obtain urine specimens for testing, data input into agency database.
Credentialed Substance Use Counselor for Level 1 outpatient substance abuse program in East Brunswick. Conduct full substance use assessments, make recommendations for level of care, facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, complete treatment/discharge planning, as well as case management with state agencies for mandated clients.
Staff oversight including directing staff activity and training. Oversight of case management/program coordination of the Multi-Services Program. Work with rental assistance program and funding sources. Utilization of HMIS case management software.
Work alongside a team facilitating therapeutic parent-child visitation for families involved with the child welfare system. Visitation will occur in the least restrictive setting determined for each family’s unique needs, for family reunification. Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field, and LAC or LSW with experience working from a trauma informed framework.
