Family Treatment of Addictions
Addiction Service Programs serve adult individuals, families, and adolescents who are struggling to overcome their addictions.
program summary:
Middlesex Addiction Services provides comprehensive substance use assessments and individual, group and family counseling to individuals and families impacted by drugs or alcohol in an outpatient setting. The program also offers intensive outpatient services to adolescents in need of substance use or co-occurring services. The program also provides written court evaluations.
Adult population:
Traditional outpatient programming for adults offering addiction treatment, recovery support, and relapse prevention in both group and individual settings. This program works with the Middlesex IDRC to assist the population in meeting court recommendations.
Adolescent Population:
The Adolescent Substance Use Recovery Initiative (ASURI) provides addiction and co-occurring addiction/mental health services to adolescents ages 13 to 18 residing in both Middlesex and Union Counties. The program offers both outpatient and intensive outpatient services and is uniquely designed to support youth and families whose lives are affected by the use or abuse of alcohol or drugs. The program provides addiction evaluations; individual, group, and family counseling; recovery support; relapse prevention; and psychoeducation. Transportation is also provided.
