At Catholic Charities, Diocese of Metuchen, our amazing volunteers contribute their time and talent to assist us in our mission, many on a “regular schedule” to support programs that benefit by their help, while others come for special events or on an “as needed” basis.

The parents from the YES Early Learning Center at St. Ladislaus, were able to participate in an information workshop, “READY, SET, LET’S GO: UNDERSTANDING THE IMPORTANCE OF KINDERGARTEN READINESS, TRANSITION TIPS & STRATEGIES," a super fun and interactive learning experience where activities were created by the parents.

For Mental Health Month and in collaboration with NAMI NJ's en Español program, yesterday, Catholic Charities YES - ELC @ St. Ladislaus presented NAMI NJ's "In Our Own Voice." This program was a powerful presentation that aimed to change attitudes, assumptions and stereotypes about people living with mental health issues.
